Get to Know Ponder School
Our program is based on a connection between children’s ideas and the teachers’ intentions. We practice current, relevant, and evidence-based strategies to help our children reach academic and healthy social-emotional learning goals in a more playful and engaging way. We also place the importance of insight, compassion, trust, and warmth at the heart of our work. Throughout our journey, we learned ways to integrate what works and makes sense from various early childhood education approaches, such as Montessori, Reggio, and Dual language immersion, so each child can benefit from what works best for them.

Enjoy pondering God daily. It lets us give God our full attention. Enjoy God’s creation. It teaches us the outpouring of God’s generosity and love. Enjoy pondering with friends and teachers. It allows us to cultivate calmness and develop resilience. Enjoy learning together and helping others grow. It helps us to appreciate friendship, community, and positive relationships. Enjoy being responsible. It empowers us to take care of ourselves and others. Enjoy being healthy. It helps us to build good exercise and eating habits. Enjoy reading books. Learning to read improves concentration and builds self-confidence and empathy. Enjoy art, music, and culture. It teaches us to express our feelings and appreciate diversity.
